Week Gone By

I saw I had a significant amount of views yesterday. My apologies to each of you who came and saw nothing new. It has been over a week since I posted (thankfully not so since I've taken pictures). There are five days represented in this post, and I intend on the last three being up tonight. And, I must say, I am happy with the results of these photos :) 

Leavenworth in Christmas

December 8, 2012 Northwest Church's young adults group went on an adventure just over the mountains to Washington's Bavarian town, Leavenworth. While there was an accident on the way to the town and not everyone made it to town, everybody's doing okay now and the town was fun and beautiful.

  

I took a photo down this same alley last September, so when I saw it this time I had to take this  one.

After the lighting ceremony we went out for dinner to wait for the majority of the crowds and traffic to leave the town. At the restaurant I went to there was a friendly old gentleman who played Christmas songs on an accordion. That was fun :)

Lights and Birdies

Today I spent a good hour chasing birds around in our greenbelt. :)

Foggy Stereo

My car has a CD player. my music library is largely digital. The default windows CD burner writes songs like a file (which most CD players can't read), not audio CD format. So, I found out how to burn audio CD's last night :)

You may have noticed that the night of the 17th was VERY foggy. After driving home in it (which is exciting and fun) I wanted to see what I could do with it using external flashes.

You will likely notice that the 16 of the date is in quotation marks. This is because the photo is standing in for the 16th while it was taken the 17th :)

*Note: I did already take a picture for today, but I plan on doing a different one this evening with an event*

Crisp, Cold and Blue

A photographer friend of mine decided to do a photoshoot with his iphone instead of his pro camera -showing that the cheap stuff can still take great pictures. While equipment helps, it's more about the photographer's doing. I took this next photo using my point and shoot.

And my sister is engaged :) and she's getting married :)
